Psylocibin Indigenous Wisdom
Daytime Short Course with Eugenia Pineda
Onilne Course with Eugenia Pineda
Thursday, October 20th 10:00- 1:00
Eugenia Pineda was born and raised in Huautla de Jimenez, Oaxaca, a mystical place tucked away in the mountains and a spiritual epicenter of mushroom/psylocybin use. Mushrooms by the Mazatec community in Huautla are referred to as “niños santos” (holy/sacred children), are considered holy beings with infinite wisdom and are widely used to cure & treat many dis-eases and imbalances. Eugenia grew up learning how to work with the “niños santos” from her mother, Julieta Casimiro Estrada. Julieta, now deceased, was friends with Maria Sabina and one of the Thirteen Grandmothers, an international alliance of indigenous female elders that focuses on issues such as the environment, the freedom to use plant medicines and other indigenous/human rights. Julieta was a powerful medicine woman who dedicated her life to help heal hundreds of people using “niños santos”.
